LED explosion-proof light beads are required to work at DC low voltage (below 20V), but our usual mains are AC high voltage (AC 220V). The electricity needed to turn the mains into light beads requires a device called the LED Constant Current Drive Power Supply.

Theoretically speaking, as long as the parameters of the drive and the lamp bead board match, you can continue to power, normal use. The inside of the driver is more complex, and the failure of any device (such as capacitor, rectifier, etc.) may cause the change of the output voltage, and then cause the lamp to dim.

Drive damage is one of the most common failures in LED explosion-proof lights, usually after replacing the driver, can be solved.

The LED burned

LED itself is a combination of a lamp bead, if one or a part of the light is not bright, it is bound to make the whole lamp dark. Beads are usually connected in series and then in parallel -- so if a single bead burns out, a whole bunch of them may go down.

There are obvious black spots on the surface of the burned lamp bead, find it, connect it with a wire on the back, short circuit it; Or replace a new lamp bead, can solve the problem.

Occasionally one of the LEDs burns down, probably by accident. If it burns frequently, consider the drive problem - another sign of a drive failure is the burning of the lamp beads.

Light decay is when the light that emits it becomes less and less bright -- more so with incandescent and fluorescent bulbs.

LED explosion-proof light can not avoid the light decline, but its speed of light decline is relatively slow, generally with the naked eye is difficult to see the change.
