      A: The thermal management of LEDs can affect their service life. If the LED is a standalone chip, appropriate radiators must be designed to prevent premature LED failure.

The effect of electrical stress: running the LED at a higher current than the rated current will cause the LED to heat. Driver mismatches can cause this to happen. For example, if the driver produces a current of 700mA and the LED only needs 350mA, this will stress the LED and shorten its life.

An ambient temperature higher than the rated LED temperature will reduce its life expectancy.
